Here is a fun little creation for the IconBuffet fans out there. This widget allows you to send icons to your friends straight from the OS X Dashboard. It looks pretty spiffy, too!
We started making the widget in Dashcode, which is an beta application by Apple. The program has a great interface, but writes nasty code under the hood. Similar to the markup from hell that Dreamweaver outputs (no offense if you use Dreamweaver...we still love you). So the widget ended up being lovingly hand-coded with our good friend, TextMate.
Ready to give the widget a whirl?

For the PC users out there (I know, I need to get a Mac... bad), are you going to put out one for us to use with Yahoo Widgets? Love Colorburn by the way...

As expected, the widget looks AWESOME!

This is great! It's time people started developing more for OSX. Now, how about a linux version :) (GNOME is the best btw.)

Spark plugs? West Africa? West Indies? Come on... everyone knows that Nigeria is the hotspot for new businesses. I invest heavily in multiple Nigerian start-ups. I think I saw my business partner on Dateline's "To Catch an ID Thief", but I'm not worried. Those checks should start rolling in any day now...

A similar icon widget for windows is also possible?

I think what all of us IconBuffet fans would really like to see right now is a blog post titled something along the lines of "What we've learned about scaling REST-based web applications".... and then immediately followed up by "We've fixed our massive, crunching, churning, hopelessly embarassing scalability issues!" (or something along those lines......).

Why dont you try making the site load. THEN work on extras. No one can even get one the site. Hello? You guys got monkeys working behind the computers over there or what?
