Don't know how long we'll be the featured widget, but for now our new ColorBurn widget is the new hotness at Apple.com. If you haven't taken the time to download our ColorBurn widget for OS X Tiger, now is the time. If the color palettes don't inspire you, the palette names will.
Also, if you downloaded the widget over the weekend, look for today's update (version 1.01) that improves some performance issues related to the daily refreshing of the palettes. If you decide to use one of the palettes in a project, let us know. We'd love to see what you cook up.

ColorBurn is inspirational. I don't know how you will ever sustain this, but I'm hooked. How can I get back to "Hitler's Springtime" or whatever it was called? I didn't act fast enough, and now I let it slip through my fingers!

I can't get it to do anything, I'm afraid... It just says "Today's Colors," which are white, white, white, and white. Clicking on the drop-down doesn't make any menu appear, and the whole thing just sits there like a lump. Any ideas?

I realize, Todd, that your comment regarding ol' Adolf's artistic abilities was entirely tongue in cheek. But for those people who might land here whose sense of humor is slightly or severely impaired, I'd like to state firmly that the ColorBurn color set named "Springtime for Hitler" served in no way whatsoever as a show of admiration for der fuhrer. It's taken from the Mel Brooks comedy The Producers ... an hilarious and entirely harmless flick! (Can't speak for the remake ... haven't seen it.)

Hey Jim, if its still not working for you let us know. So many people downloaded the sucker yesterday that it took our database server down temporarily. If you were installing when that was down you that would explain the four white boxes. Bummer, dude.

Hmm... if you're seeing white, you should try refreshing the widget (command-R). If that doesn't work, be sure you have the latest version of the widget from us (1.01) from this server. Apple has not updated their mirror yet.
