As much as I don't care for the "2.0" label, it is what it is, and is probably the most accurate description of the update our Blinksale invoicing service will receive in the near-term future. If you haven't had a chance to tryout Blinksale, you can sign-up for a free account today.
It should be noted that the new update will contain a good handful of wonderful (and quite powerful) new features in addition to a bit of a facelift. Current Blinksale subscribers should be thrilled with the improvements, and new subscribers will wonder why they weren't using Blinksale for their invoicing all along.
I wish we could show you more today, but that would spoil the fun. You'll have to wait just a little bit longer. We can't wait to get this one out the door.

Blinksale has made invoicing both easy and fun for me. Saves me time and, as we all know, time is money and my time is especially expensive. Well worth the few (tax deductible) dollars a month.

Good to hear you guys are working hard on blinksale. I'd like to see ways to add notes or attach txt files to time slips. I have certain bigger name clients who need my hours documented with much more detail than I can fill in a one line box. Awesome work so far.

Josh, I am still looking for a way to do quotes and track invoice history (when I sent it, when I sent a reminder, etc.). I also think that 3 invoice types (service, time, and product) should be moved to being line item types, rather than invoice types. What if I want to bill for a service and product in the same invoice?

I'd like to be able to set currency on a per invoice basis, yet also still set an overall preference for currency. Then I'd be able to view invoices in either the currency it was sent or my default currency and have Blinksale do the conversion. Probably hoping for too much now! Any improvements will be great - I love Blinksale already :)

I certainly like the new features mentioned. Hopefully, there would be a way to add a "fixed" note so it always appear as a clause or line in all invoices. Say 'Please make check payable to Name Here'. Things like that. Roll it out, roll it out!

Great - i'd love to be able to mix invoicing for time and services on the same invoice, which I don't *think* is possible at the moment.
A Bronze payment plan would be nice too, for students like me who semi-part-time freelance with their studies and don't send that many invoices per month, but have more than 3 clients allowed on the free plan.
And being able to subscribe by PayPal would be good too. :o)

I must admit, recurring billing has me drooling. As does automated reminders, though I'm still eager to figure out what exactly that entails. If there's some way to set up a recurring monthly payment for my customers that automatically reminds them that payment is due a day or two before it's actually due... well, you would have made me one happy man. Heck, even if it's not a reminder that's a few days in advance, I will work with the recurring portion happily regardless.
You can't work fast enough in my opinion. ;)

all i can say is im glad to be using the system as is and if there are any mods to come i cant wait to use them.
just incase you guys are still in development, i want to throw my hat in the ring with Zach. automatic reminders and recurring billing would make this cake and a fool of anyone not using ;)
also i was just looking at my regular account and it would be cool for tax purposes or even just so i can stop using an excel file to documant this but if you could make it where i could see the total paid on each bill without having to actually look at the summary that would be great. even if it was an option on the front page that said. view totals and i could view all my individual client totals and then the total amount of all jobs i have done.
just as a quick reference so i dont have to manually go in and look at each one and add all that up would SWEET! I'd pay an extra couple dollars a month for that functionality for sure.
