I know you probably hate these responses, but this couldn't come at a worse time. I've always wanted to delve into the Mac realm and this would be a great bargain for doing so. Not only that, but I do work in Irving and live in N. Richland Hills, so I could pick it up. I'm really gonna have to talk to the wife about this and see if I can do it. Really tempting. :)

BTW.. knowing that I currently know little to nothing about Macs, which version of the operating system is this one currently running? And what other software is installed?

Hey Charles, currently Mac OS 10.3 Panther is installed on the machine, and it comes with all the original software restore discs that came with the computer. You'd probably want to pick up a copy of the latest OS (10.4) for fun. But that's not a big deal.

okay, i was in sin....i just watched the steve jobs and co. Panther demo off of there website. I bow down in worship of the Mac now...shreddin stuff. Now just to convince that Admin budget guy to give twice the amount i would need for a pc....hmmmm.
