As the Blinksale launch closes in on us, we've decided to post the Blinksale Manifesto, eleven simple ideas that have guided our thinking about online invoicing.
Getting paid should be fun
Put simply, receiving payment for services performed or goods sold is why most of us work. While many small business owners, contractors, and freelancers enjoy the work they perform, most of us would rather be skiing. Or on a lake. Or in front of a 60-inch plasma TV. We work so we can get paid. And if we get paid enough, perhaps we won't have to work as much. Getting paid for your services should be easy, painless, and quick. This is why we created Blinksale.

I can't wait. I run a business based upon freelance (read as freefall) design and photography services and eagerly anticipate trying this out. if you are in need of just one more beta tester I'd be glad to give you a real-world opinion.

I can't wait either, i'm using Backpack, Basecamp and TA-DA lists and Blinksale would definitely be the next killer app I would love to use. I can't wait to see it. Creating Invoices right now is so damn fussy.

Can you guess? Yup! I can't wait either!!! I'm looking forward to the launch so I can add yet another web-app to my list of useful tools :)

It's great to receive the gift here of a more extended conceptual foray into the background for the development of this exciting tool. Every development project should have a manifesto which clearly outlines the inspiration, the fabric and the raison d'etre of a tool, project or enterprise. Invoicing for me has been home-grown and time-consuming. It is such a crucial part of the client-vendor relationship! Thank you, I am on the edge of my non-ergonomic seat. Once some of those invoices are paid, I'll buy a new task chair to celebrate... My only suggestion would be to go through one more round of naming brainstorming - "Blinksale" could just possibly be improved upon...
Josh Williams says
Llull - You won't be waiting long now. Can't say the name is goona change though. ;-) The app, however, is extremely close. Extremely close.

As usual, with new web applicaitons, no multi-language features. Hope they come soon!!
The fact that the subject line on emails and reminders arnt editable is a pitty. My native spanish speaking clients will sure think of it as SPAM... and I just want to get paid.
Also, many labels on the invoice per-se cant be changed. Just ideas for globalizing your product.
Keep up the good work. Awesome interface.
